How to Create a No-sew Bow Tie

Firstly, cut out a 9×3” rectangle of stiff fabric. If you want a larger one, just cut it larger. Secondly, cut a 3×1” strip of fabric for the center of the bow. After that, fold the rectangle in half. Therefore, the short edges will be lined up.

For the next step, at the center, squeeze in the bow. Just keep holding it with one hand. Next, glue it between the folds using hot glue gun. Lastly, secure the fabric strips around the center of the bow using hot glue.

How to Sew an Adult Bow Tie

First of all, select a flexible color or print fabric for your bow tie. Second of all, find & print a simple pattern of the bow tie. Third of all, cut the fabric & interfacing for the shape of your bow tie. For the next step, you have to iron the interfacing onto the fabric.

After that, sew the long edges of the two interfaced fabric pieces. For the next step, you are required to snip the excess fabric at the corner of the tie as well as along the curved edges. Then, flip out the inside of the bow tie. Next, sew the remaining short edge and iron the bow tie.
